Manteno Veterans Home officials are reporting 10 veterans have died at the facility in Kankakee County …the deaths attributed to the COVID-19 virus. There are 69 others who have tested positive for the virus. Twenty-two of those are staff members.

There were six more COVID-19 fatalities to report in Kankakee County from the past weekend. County Public health officials the total deaths are now at 53. The weekend also brought 55 new cases. The total number of confirmed cases is now at 1,096.

Iroquois County Public Health is reporting 131 individuals with lab-confirmed cases of the coronavirus. Tuesday’s report listed a male in his 50’s as the latest case.

Ford County Public Health reported no new confirmed case (Tuesday). There’s 21 confirmed cases and one death in Ford County.

An 11th resident of McLean County has died of the virus; two new cases added Tuesday. McLean County Public Health officials report 212 confirmed cases.
