Marlow Jones appointed Resident Circuit Judge in 21st District

The 21st Judicial Circuit of Illinois has a new judge, effective July 6, 2022.   Marlow A. Jones has been appointed to fill a vacancy when Judge Adrienne Albrecht retires, effective July 5.  Jones' appointement was announced (Wednesday) by Justice Robert L. Carter of the Illinois Supreme Court.  

The 21st Circuit includes Iroquois and Kankakee counties.  

Mr. Jones has served as an Assistant State's Attorney and Chief of the Criminal Division in the Kankakee County County State's Attorney's Office since 2016.  He was also an Assistant State's Attorney in Cook County in both the civil and crimnal divisions.
