Great weekend weather for some fun in the park. And that’s the order of business in Martinton.

The Martinton EMS/Fire Day in the park is tomorrow (Saturday September 16, 2017). That beautiful Martinton Village Park has all kinds of activities planned beginning at 7 am. The food pantry opens its doors for breakfast. It’s at the Parish Hall.

Softball games run all day, starting at 9 am. Tractor pull at noon. Chicken dinner will begin at 4:00 there is a limited amount so please purchase your ticket at the park.

Mahlah the comfort dog will make an appearance around 2:00. There are games for the kids through out the day. Bean bag tournament starting at 5:00. The band Rival will begin around 6:00. There’s raffles throughout the day and the final raffle prizes to be given away around 10:00 pm which includes a featured-toolbox.

Organizers of the Day in the Park extend a thank you to the community for the continue support of their fire and ambulance departments.
