A great cause and a fun weekend planned for the Village of Martinton. The community’s fire and ambulance service is hosting the ‘Day in the Park” event. Friday and Saturday activities will help fundraise for the local emergency services, according to Dawn Brault...

" Friday evening there's a movie in the park for the kids. There's refreshments and food. Brault also points out the community Food Pantry is a county-wide program; "a lot of people benefit, so this is a thank you too."

The Food Pantry folks are serving a breakfast Saturday morning from 9 'til Noon.

A medical emergency helicopter also plans to land for a educational session.
