The Illinois Department on Aging collaborates with national partners to promote social engagement and local services, including transportation. Senior centers offer diverse programs, from fitness to volunteering. Congregate meal sites across 400 locations foster nutrition and socialization. The state provides resources like interactive maps and free tablets for isolated seniors.
