Much of Illinois will get a taste of summer this week. A warm front will bring in windy conditions and more humidity today (Thursday) with some areas of the state seeing 90 degree temperatures. There is also a threat of severe thunderstorms Thursday evening. Temperatures are expected to remain above normal on Friday.

Isolated T-storms late afternoon today, some storms could be severe.  SE winds could reach near 30 mph.  Additional T-storms and severe weather possible overnight into Friday.
