Medicaid enrollment near 74 million

Americans enrolled in Medicaid is soaring to a record of almost 74 million people. According to a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, there has been a 15 percent increase in the amount of enrollees as of January 2021. The boost is being attributed to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act passed in March of 2020. President Biden's administration wants to expand health care coverage under the Affordable Care Act as millions of Americans are still uninsured.
