Meth items discovered in White County, IN

Several items used to manufacture methamphetamine were found along a rural White County road Friday evening.
The White County Sheriff's Office got the report around 6 p.m. that items commonly used to make meth were found on County Road 150 West, northwest of Chalmers.

Sheriff Pat Shafer said a suspicious motorcycle was seen leaving the area. Deputies were unable to make contact with the motorcyclist, but found the bike abandoned later in the evening. Shafer said the motorcycle was impounded.

The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression team was called to the scene. They collected several items along the road and under bridges. The investigation is ongoing.
