There were 40 plus entries for the 4th Annual Milford Christmas Parade Sunday evening.  Organizers said an entusiastic crowd gathered despite the colder temps and misty conditions. Santa Claus arrived and was available to see children after the parade route. Prizes were awarded for winning entries... 

Best Use of Theme (Old Fashioned Christmas) - I Don’t Care Grill and Chill
Best Youth - MHS Cheerleaders
Best Decorated Emergency Vehicle - Milford Fire Dept.
Best Religious/Non-Profit - Our Savior Lutheran Church

Also, a large crowd turned out for Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. Parade grand Marshall Geniece Allen pressed a huge button to light the hundreds of bulbs on the tall decorated evergreen located north of city hall.
