It wasn't a routine fire call for Milford firemen Thursday evening. Fire crews had to deal with a man who had a gun at a residential structure fire at 1900 E and 1100 N Road in Iroquois County. As fire crews started to deal with the flames seen in an upstairs location, the man inside threatened fire personnel while holding a gun. Sheriff's Police were called while firemen backed away.  Deputies were able to get the man outside.  He was taken to Iroquois Memorial Hospital by Milford Ambulance and then arrested for arson and possession of METH.

33-year-old Olan Morris III was jailed in Watseka.  No other injury was reported.
