Today’s (Friday 11/16) the deadline to register for the Milford Police Department’s Cops for Kids Christmas Give-away.

Parents/guardians can register at Milford Village Hall. The give-away is at 7 pm Sunday, November 25 at the Citizens State Bank.

Police chief Claudio Garcia said the give-away program is for children from the local Milford community. This is the 5th year for the program.

Gifts and cash donations are most appreciated. Donations are welcome from everyone.

Bell ringers are active in several cities for this year’s Red Kettle Campaign. The Salvation Army has launched the annual fundraiser for the holiday season. The Red Kettles are popular across the state and welcome cash donations.
