Ford County has a new administrator for the County Health Department.  Glenn Miller is expected to start his new position January 6.

The Ford County Chronicle reports Miller impressed the Board of Health members and a couple of the health department staff. Miller’s hiring has been approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Miller is a native of Paxton, lives at Lake Iroquois, and was employed as a case manager at Nexus –Onarga Family Healing and recently was manager of the Cornerstone Café on the Onarga school campus.  He also has previous work experience as an administrator at a Springfield nursing home and also was administrator at an assisted-living facility.
