Bond is set at $1-million for 55-year-old Scott Penrod of Limestone. He’s charged with two-counts of murder in the shooting death of his wife in their rural Limestone home last week.

The body of 71-year-old Sandra Penrod was discovered in a bedroom while police conducted a welfare check. An autopsy later revealed the woman suffered several gunshot wounds.
