A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning killed a 45-year-old Momence man. Sean Hensley died after crashing into an oncoming semi on Illinois Route 1 near Grant Park.

Illinois State Police reported Hensley was southbound on Route 1 when he drifted into the other lane and hit the rear of a northbound semi.

The driver of the semi was not injured. He was identified as 42-year-old Richard McCann of Morocco, Indiana.

The accident happened just before 6 am. Route 1 was shut down, between County Roads 9000 and 12000 N while the investigation was completed.
