A fake bomb threat near Remington, Indiana finds a Monticello in trouble.

Jasper County Sheriff's Police were called to an Advanced Auto Parts warehouse last week regarding a bomb threat. An evacuation was carried out after a threat was written out on an employee bathroom stall.

A search of the building revealed no explosive devices located within the warehouse area.

Investigators identified a suspect after viewing security footage of the area near the bathroom and interviewing employees.

The suspect, 37-year-old Kristopher Larson of Monticello, admitted to detectives that he was the person who had placed the bomb threat.

Larson was charged with intimidation and criminal mischief. He was arrested in White County and taken to the Jasper County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

Advanced Auto Parts estimated a loss of roughly $50,000 in wages due to the evacuation.
