Patching on I-55 in Livingston County starts today (Monday).  The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT)  alerts motorists to work from the McLean-Livingston County line near Chenoa to north of Pontiac.  Nineteen miles will get attention.  The work is likely to continue thru July 11.  

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time and be aware of slowed and stopped traffic.  There will be some daytime and overnight lane closures.
