Newton County Sheriff’s Police investigated a rollover crash Tuesday night at U.S 41 and Couty Road 300 W. A 24 year old Roselawn man, was traveling south bound on US 41when he failed to negotiate the curve at County Road 300 West and lost control causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and roll on its top.

The unidentified driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Riverside Medical Center to be treated for what is believed to be non life threatening injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Newton County Ambulance, Morocco Fire Department, Morocco Police Department.
