There’s never a lack of music; the entertainment lined up in Kankakee this weekend will satisfy every genre. A glance at the menu shows organizers have gone to all extremes to satisfy music-lovers for the Kankakee Merchant Street MusicFest.

And the show is all GO for the annual event at the Harold & Jean Minor Festival Square Friday and Saturday.

WGFA 94.1 provides coverage from the MSMF broadcasting 5-7 pm Friday.

FOUR stages feature the bands lined up to perform. The weather is expected to be hot and steamy.
Tickets at the gate are $10 per person. This year’s event features a fourth stage, dedicated to teen performers.

Attendance at the 2023 event is expected at between 10,000 to 12,000.

The event runs from 5-11 p.m. Friday and 2-11 p.m. Saturday.
