Murder suspect's trial pushed back to April

A Paxton man's second-degree murder trial has been rescheduled for April.

33-year-old Sean F. Kelley is charged in connection with the stabbing death of Jeffrey D. Potts of Paxton. The 49-year-old victim was killed October 17th.

Kelley could be facing a sentence ranging from probation to four -15 years in prison if convicted of second-degree murder, a Class 1 felony.

Judge Stephen Pacey did agree to reduce Kelley's $1 million bond to $250,000.

Kelly is claiming self-defense.
