The National Weather Service in Chicago now has a count of 24 confirmed tornadoes from last Monday's storm, setting a new daily record in the forecast area.
Assessment is still ongoing with local emergency management agencies. There were six confirmed tornadoes in Sunday's storm.  Any additional damage can be submitted to local EMA offices.
