National Work Zone Awareness week and the start of construction season fall under the same week, April 15 through the 19. It serves as a crucial reminder of the importance when it comes to driving cautiously.  "They go to work in the morning, they want to come back the same way as they left," Blake Dollier, INDOT Public Relations Director, said.
National Work Zone Awareness week recognizes highway workers, many who put their lives at risk.

Construction is underway.  Motorists are urged to slow it down, pay attention to flaggers, and use patience... while also being aware of slow-moving farm equipment during the spring planting season.
