Twenty-year-old Karlie Brianne Drinski of Kentland is the 2013 fair queen in Newton County, Indiana.

The daughter of Jeff Drinski and Sharon Lowe was crowned Monday night.  She bested a field of seven contestants at the fairgrounds north of Kentland.  (WGFA radio aired the live broadcast).

Karlie attends Ivy tech Community College and plans to major in criminal justice.

Andrea Kelly of Lake Village was 1st runner-up.
