A 20-year-old Cissna Park woman is the new queen at the Iroquois County Fair. Lyndsey Neukomm was crowned Wednesday evening to open the 2018 fair at Crescent City.  The judges selected her over four other contestants.

Miss Neukomm is the daughter of Walt Neukomm and Charlene Neukomm. She's attending Parkland College in Champaign, having graduated from Cissna Park High School in 2016.

Kaylee Cumo of Watseka was named 1st runnerup. Second runnerup was Katlyn Post of Crescent City. Miss Congeniality went to Olivia Powell of Cissna Park.

The outgoing queen who crowned Miss Neukomm is Samantha Hasselbring of Cissna Park.  Samantha is the current Miss ILLINOIS county fair queen.
