Kankakee County's newest judge will take the oath of office later this month. J. Imani Drew is scheduled to to take her oath Friday, July 22 at 4 pm. The event will take place in Courtroom 300.

Drew will be the first African-American woman judge to be appointed to the bench in the 21st Circuit.
