The Iroquois West School District is ready to move forward with its new school leader. Angelo Lekkas is the superintendent hired Monday by the Unit 10 school board. Board President David Haase said Lekkus begins his job July 1, 2020. The board approved a three-year contract for Lekkus. He comes to Iroquois West from Genoa-Kingston.

Iroquois West is now working with interim superintendent Robert Bagby, who was hired to succeed retired-superintendent Linda Dvorak.
