Newton County Sheriff Tom VanVleet said a 24-year-old man is in custody and facing a murder charge after three bodies were found in Newton County’s Sumava Resorts late Sunday evening.
Sebastian Wedding has been arrested in connection to the triple homicide. Wedding is jailed in Kentland.
Sherriff’s Police and County Emergency Medical Service responders and Indiana State Police responded to a call for a “man bleeding” at 11422 N and 250 West Road around 8 pm.
Investigators found the bodies of two adult males and one adult female. Their names are being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
Newton County Coroner Scott McCord said the three suffered “trauma” but a cause of death will be unavailable until autopsies are performed.
