Newton County, Indiana sheriff's police report a 20-year-old Illinois driver failed to yield the right-of-way and collided with another vehicle resulting in a fiery crash.  It happened early Saturday on U.S. 41 at State Road 14, near Enos.  Police reported  the 20-year-old was westbound in a pickup truck, failed to yield, and collided with a southbound Jeep.
A 66-year-old Indiana man was driving the Jeep, which then became engulfed in flames. 

Two occupants in the Jeep were able to exit the vehicle.  Both were treated for minor injuries.  The 20-year-old driver of the pickup refused medical treatment.

Several emergency units responded to the scene just after 5 am.
