The South Carolina man charged in an October 30th crash that killed a Pontiac police officer and his canine partner has entered a "not guilty" plea.

33-year-old Jason Collins entered the plea in Livingston County Circuit Court.

Collins faces two felonies. He's charged with reckless homicide and aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol. Police said Collins was driving a pickup truck on Interstate 55 when it struck the marked police car, killing Officer Casey Kohlmeier and his dog, Draco (Dray-co).
