WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM CST SATURDAY.
THE NATL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM CST SATURDAY.
SNOW WILL SPREAD FROM PORTIONS OF NORTH-CENTRAL ILLINOIS SATURDAY MORNING EXTENDING SOUTHEAST ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS LASTING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.
PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW WILL RESULT IN ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES.LEADING TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
INTERMITTENT BANDS OF HEAVY SNOW ARE POSSIBLE.LEADING TO REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY TO UNDER A MILE AT TIMES.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS & LIMITED VISIBILITIES.& USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
