Officer Bailey coming home

Bradley village officials are urging the public to show support for the coming-home celebration for Officer Tyler Bailey.  The Bradley officer is headed home from his extensive rehab on Wednesday, November 23rd.  Well-wishers are asked to line the route as he returns to the Village of Bradley police department.  He's expected to make a stop at the Bradley Police Station around 2 pm.

A police escort will lead Bailey and his wife (Sydney).  The public can line the streets from I-57 to Route 50 then to Broadway Avenue to the village hall.

Officer Bailey and his partner, Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic, were shot in an ambush outside the Comfort Inn in Bradley last December 29.  Sgt. Rittmanic was killed.  Bailey was severely wounded and has undergone rehab and therapy.  His recovery continues.
