The Iroquois County Fair 2016 unfolded Wednesday night with a new queen crowned.  Twenty-year-old Olivia Claire of Watseka was the judges' choice out of a field of seven contestants. Olivia is the daughter of Jeff and the late Marybeth Claire.

Olivia is a student at Western Illinois University where she's majoring in Agriculture Science.  She's an 11-year 4-H veteran.

Gwendolyn Orr of Gilman was 1st-runner-up.  Abby Fischer of Watseka was 2nd runner-up.  Miss Congeniality went to Alison Hull of Clifton.
