Iroquois County students learn about Sugar Creek

The Sugar Creek Opera is gearing up for its 2019 performance in Iroquois County. Today (Wed), Gillian Hollis is part of a professional touring group out of Wisconsin visiting with elementary students --- it’s part of the educational program “Opera for the Young at Heart” ......
The group performs “Super Storm” – about 4 strangers who meet up with abandoned cats & dogs in a cave. The storm energizes the cats & dogs to where the animals gain the power of speech.

Gillian says the tour group had fun in Milford and today will meet up with students in Watseka.

Select students have had roles in the summer performance of Sugar Creek.
