Six departments fought an unoccupied house fire in Paxton Monday morning. Extensive damage was reported to the first and second floors of the house, which was being renovated. No one was present, no injury. The fire appeared to have been electrical. Firemen from Buckley, Loda, Rankin, Ludlow and Rantoul assisted Paxton.
