Paxton meth bust leads to 3 arrests

A rolling meth lab finds three men facing charges in Ford County. The illegal lab was discovered during a traffic stop early Sunday morning in downtown Paxton.

Paxton Police Chief Bob Bane reports his agency conducted a traffic stop a little before 1 am on North Market Street Sunday. Bane said a "working, cooking meth lab" was inside.

20-year-old Eugene Forbes III of Rankin was arrested. Police identified two passengers as 31-year-old Christina Reardon of Paxton; and 26-year-old Christopher Searcy of Rankin.

All three are charged with one count each of unlawful participation in methamphetamine production...unlawful possession of anhydrous ammonia...and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
