The Paxton Area Chamber of Commerce received business support to assist people recovering from the flood.  Several businesses donated so that the Chamber was able to hand out fans and cleaning supplies. Gift cards were also distributed.

Chamber Vice-President Austin Curtis it’s just a way to support the people who support our local businesses every day.

Clean-up efforts in the community continue after the reports of 10-12 inches of rain over the last weekend.      

An emergency declaration is providing some relief to Ford, Champaign, Vermilion and McLean counties.
