Counselors are available at PBL High School in Paxton following the weekend death of a student, who died of COVID-19 complications.

A junior student, Joey Hoopingarner, died Sunday evening. Further info is yet to be released.

In a letter to parents Monday, Superintendent Cliff McClure stated counseling services have been made available to students at the high school. Students are encouraged to talk with the professionals, if necessary. Counselors will be available throughout the week and longer if needed.
