A Chicago man suffered a gunshot wound in a shooting reported Tuesday night in Pembroke Township. The 29-year-old victim is not cooperating with investigators. Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police were called to the Friendly Mart at 9:30 pm. Reports indicated there were two people with guns.

Deputies reported finding evidence of a shooting. They also learned about a man at a business in Sun River Terrace, along Route 17, who had been shot. Police were looking for a connection to the two incidents. Anyone with info is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 815-932-7463.
