A male and female were shot Monday night in Pembroke Township.  Kankakee County Sheriff Mike Downey said in a news release detectives learned a 31-year-old woman was shot in the leg by gunfire in her residence.  A 41-year-old man was shot in the stomach and arm.  The injuries were not life-threatening.  

Police responded to shots fired at East 3000 S and South 13000 E Road about 8:45 pm Monday.  Anyone with info is asked to call 815-802-7150 or call CrimeStoppers at 815-93-CRIME (932-7463).
