A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 57 Thursday afternoon killed a 42-year-old woman. Jaime Corsaro of Peotone died of her injuries.

She was pronounced dead at Presence St. Mary's Hospital, according to Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner. An autopsy was scheduled.

State Police reported Corsaro was northbound when her sports car spun and hit a barrier wall. The car came back into traffic and was hit on its driver's side by a semi.

The crash closed the northbound lanes for four hours.
