School is in session today (Tuesday) at St. Anne High School and St. Anne Grade School after a threat was called in last evening. There will be police presence today and in the coming days, even though the threat is unsubstantiated.
An anonymous call was made to Kankakee County Dispatch (KAN-COM) regarding a possible threat TODAY to St. Anne High School and the Kankakee County Career Center.
St. Anne Police and the St. Anne Schools administration determined the local schools would remain in session. Police presence will be in place at both St. Anne schools throughout the day and in coming days. Schools will operate on a soft lockdown. Both schools will also operate with restricted visitor policy in place.
