Illinois state regulators are now accepting applications for new adult-use cannabis dispensary licenses. Applications will be accepted through Jan. 2. Applications must be delivered in person to the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation offices in Chicago. On May 1, up to 75 licenses will be awarded to various Bureau of Labor Statistics regions throughout the state.
