An Indiana lottery official says the sole winning ticket for an estimated $435 million Powerball jackpot was sold in Lafayette.

The numbers are 10-13-28-52-61 and Powerball 2.

A Hoosier Lottery spokesman confirmed the winning ticket was sold in Lafayette at the Super Test Mini-Mart near the corner of Sagamore Parkway South and State Road 38.

The jackpot is the seventh largest in Powerball history.

The winner will have the chance to take payment of the estimated $435.3 million as a 30-year annuity or in a one-time lump sum estimated payment of $263.5 million — both before taxes.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize and can do so anonymously in Indiana through a limited liability corporation or other means. The single winning ticket means “no one will have to share.”

The owner of the Super Test in Lafayette where the ticket was sold will receive $100,000. Retailers receive 1% of Powerball jackpot winnings for selling the lucky ticket. Rewards to retailers are capped at $100,000.

During Wednesday night’s drawing, it was announced that the jackpot jumped to an estimated $435 million.

Powerball is played in 44 states, plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The top prize drops back to $40 million for the next drawing Saturday night.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are incredibly small, at one in 292.2 million.
