The Danville area will have a new ambulance service. Presence Pro Ambulance has received a license and plans to be operational there next month.

Presence Health says in a press release, Pro Ambulance is finalizing plans and operations for the new ambulance service with the city.

In a statement Friday afternoon, Dr. Jared Rogers, Presence Health's regional president and CEO, thanked the Danville City Council, Mayor Scott Eisenhauer and the Danville Public Services Committee. He said “Presence Health is looking forward to working with area fire and police departments to continue to do our part in keeping Danville a healthy, safe and thriving community."
