A woman charged with the murder of Nicole Bowen in Newton County, IN received a lengthy prison term. In Newton Superior Court -- Ashley Garth was sentenced to 48 years in prison. Garth is one of two defendants charged with the murder of Miss Bowen. Co-defendant Garrett Kurtz is serving a 55-year prison term for his role in the crime.
The 30-year-old victim.. Nicole Bowen..was killed in 2019. Her body was found inside a semi-trailer at an abandoned farm site near Kentland. Authorities had said she was strangled with an extension cord.
