Tradition continues in Momence where a new queen and princess were crowned last evening to get the 2019 Gladiolus Festival underway. Sixteen-year-old Dixie Duncan was crowned queen. She’s the daughter of Doug and Stacy Duncan of Momence. Josie Rae Ford, the 9-year-old daughter of Matthew and Nicole Ford of Momence was crowned princess. The 82nd annual Glad Fest began with the Queen and Princess Coronation at the Momence High School Football Field. The activities will continue through Sunday.
