An effort to reduce railroad congestion in Cook County could find a rail hub developed in Kankakee County. The hub would be located in the Manteno area and be linked to Wilmington in Will County, if it happens.

The freight traffic would also bring rail traffic from LaPorte, Indiana.

A public hearing was held last evening at the Manteno Sportsmen's Club.
