Significant rain is expected to soak areas of East Central Illinois and West-Central Indiana over the next three days. The National Weather Service says 2 to 3 inches of rain is likely, which will likely cause some flooding of rivers and streams. Some areas could see around 4 inches of rain before the system moves out of the area late Friday.

There is a slight risk of severe weather with large hail and some damaging winds Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and night. The greatest threat of severe storms is on Thursday afternoon into the night.
