Tax payments due in Iroquois, Kankakee, Will counties

Taxpayers in Iroquois, Kankakee and Will counties are reminded the second installment of 2013 real estate taxes come due in the next week. Payments can be made at respective county treasurer offices or at area banking facilities.

Iroquois County taxes are due by September 12th. In Kankakee County, taxpayers are reminded the second installment of the real estate taxes is due Wednesday, Sept. 3. In Will County, the second installment of the real estate taxes is due Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Payments after the due dates will be assessed 1.5 percent interest penalty per month. Questions can be directed to the Treasurer's office.
