Recovery Center opens Friday in Watseka

A Multi-Agency Resource Center opens Friday in Watseka to provide assistance for flood victims.

The Center will help with recovery efforts from the flood that affected Watseka and rural parts of Iroquois County.
The Center will locate in the former Ford Lincoln dealership building on Route 1 North. The Resource center will be open from Noon to 8 pm.

Several charities, non-profit organizations, and other agencies will be present to assist individuals that have unmet needs as a result of flood damage.

Meanwhile, the city of Watseka continues with debris removal and pickup. debris will be picked up Friday and again next week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

City officials will continue to post updated flood recovery details on the city website at www.watsekacity.org
