St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Gilman welcomes visitors to a blood drive today (Thursday).  The event runs from 12 Noon 'til 6 pm.

Organizers said the church at 116 N. Thomas is in the middle of some local road construction work, so visitors might want to use the street one block west of Thomas Street and follow the signs. Thomas Street is not officially closed, but it's a rough go and Main Street offers a better ride.

A blood drive is also at the Quality Inn in Bradley today from Noon 'til 6 pm. 

Tomorrow (Friday) -- The Covenant Federated Church in Kentland, IN is hosting the Community Blood Drive from 1 - 6 pm.  The Red Cross is reporting blood is down to a three-day supply for most blood types.  Officials urge donars to make sure hospital needs are met. Appointments or walk-ins are welcome.
